Our theme for April is Trust. Thanks to Scribe of Telcontar for the suggestion!
The presence or absence of trust is the defining moment of every relationship. There can't be true friendship or love without trust. There can be a different measure of trust between two people, changing over time s their relationship develops. Legolas and Gimli are a good example of such development. But in a bigger group, the relationships get even more complicated. You can take a look at the Fellowship and how its members trusted each other at different points of the journey.
Trust is usually between two people, and it can be an assymetrical emotion - one side might remain faithful while the other can betray the trust. Words and deeds can differ here, and it's the deeds that matter at the end. But one can also trust in some other things and ideas, like justice, the government (or king), one's own skills...
