For June, the theme for the Teitho Contest will be Crossing Borders.
For this challenge, you have once again many possibilities. You could
understand the theme in the geographical sense and have your characters
cross the border from one country to the next. So how about writing
about Aragorn's wandering years? He must have seen quite a few borders
in his time. Or how about Legolas crossing the most important border
in Tolkien's world: The one between Arda and the Undying Lands?
But of course you can interpret Crossing Borders in many different
ways. People can cross cultural borders, borders imposed by race, age,
gender or universe. You see, you can take this theme into many directions!
We only ask you to stay within our guidelines and include Aragorn and/or
Legolas somewhere in the story. But apart from that you can cross as
many borders as you want!
