The new year is here and with it, of course, a new theme for the Teitho
Challenge. For January the theme will be The Four Elements.
Four, you wonder? The Greek classical elements are five actually -
fire, earth, water, air and idea, but we would like you to stick with
the states of matter here. We challenge you to write a story featuring
either of those elements - fire, earth, water or air - prominently.
Of course you can also choose a combination of them or even use all
four.
How about a fire threatening Mirkwood? Or an earthquake surprising
the fellowship in the Mines of Moria? Or Legolas sailing West? Or the
poisonous air in the Dead Marshes? Many things are possible for this
challenge, so feel free to let your fantasy run away with you! Of course
the usual rules apply - apart from that you can once again freely choose
your genre for this one!
