In March the Teitho challenge will pick up a reccurent theme in Tolkien's work. This month it will all be about The Sea, The Sea.

Many things come to mind when one thinks of the sea that seperates Aman and Middle Earth. Of course there is the sea-longing, so how about showing Legolas' heartache over hearing the call of the sea? There is also the fact that the Numenoreans were great mariners. Elrond could tell young Estel a story about his illustrous forefathers! How about a good old story about pirates? Or shipwrecked sailors? Or Aragorn being a captain on one of Gondor's great ship?

Here are the the winners:

A Stronger Call by StarLight 2nd place
Aear; Nan Aearon! by Aranel
The Mariner's Son by cairistiona 1rst place
The Pirate Life for Me by Sivan
The Sea, the Sea! by Amarok 3rd place
The Sum of All Fears by imaginigma
To Risk it All by White Wolf
