Winter is fast approaching and with it long nights and cold days. Before
the electronic media was invented and one could simply spend the evening
in front of the tv or the computer, people were forced to interact with
one another. More often than not, they would tell stories and tales.
Therefore, the Teitho theme for December will be Once Upon A Time.
This challenge is not only about fairytales, of course. This month,
Teitho challenges you to write a story in which the telling of tales
plays a role. Eavesdrop on a ranger camp and tell us what the men are
talking about while sitting around the fire and sharing a drink. Give
us a glimpse of Elrond's library and what treasures he's hiding away
on his shelves. Show us what men are talking about in an inn, explore
the lore of elves or introduce us to a writer in Middle Earth who's
penning poems and songs. You choose!
And here are the winners:
A
Tale from the Wilderland by KyMahalei
Once
Upon a Blizzard by Fiondil 2nd place
The
Brave Little Boy by StarLight 3rd place
The
Silver Queen by MP Brennan 1rst place
Where
Do Babies Come From by Nautika
Thank you for participating!
