For the upcoming month, the theme will be Competitions.

I think you all remember Legolas' and Gimli's friendly competition of who killed more orcs. However, this is - of course! - not the only competition one will come across in Middle Earth. Therefore, Teitho challenges you to describe all kinds of competitions in the current challenge.

Since Middle Earth has no cable tv and Elrond's library is entertaining only for so long, there surely must have been a fair number of competitions around - who is the better marksman, who is the better rider, who is the better chess player, who can recite the longest poem?! You can also write about competitions between friends, spouses or certain twins! Write about things that can be turned into competitions or about those that absolutely cannot.
