Whether we like it or not, the days are getting shorter again: It's
definitely autumn. October is a special month for all who like the supernatural,
the weird, the scary. It's the month of Halloween! Teitho's last Halloween-themed
challenge was in 2005, so it's time we did that again. This month, the
theme will be Weird Tales.
Of course, the theme alludes to the fantasy and horror magazine of
the same name from the early 20th century. It's supposed to be as general
as possible to give you the opportunity to write anything fitting the
spirit of Halloween: haunted houses, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, magic.
Middle Earth has its fair share of dark corners. Halloween is the perfect
time to explore them! Have our dynamic duo live through a scary adventure,
have them meet a vengeful spirit or let them recount urban legends!
