About the Teitho Contest
The Teitho Contest is an initiative of Aragornwriter.
This contest runs through this website and invites writers who like Aragorn and/or Legolas stories to join in. You don't have to be a member of any particular
mailing list or group, but do bear in mind our criteria below.
This contest is co-moderated by Michelle and Alinah.
This is a contest for gen-fanfiction featuring either Aragorn and/or
Legolas. For more information on what is/is not allowed, please visit
the rules
page.
Teitho stands for "Write!",
which is exactly what we want you to do!
Are you a LOTR-fanfiction
writer, interested in friendship stories about Legolas and/or Aragorn, the
twins, Elrond, Glorfindel, Thranduil, ...? Do you like to write angst,
horror, comedy, ..?
Or, are you a reader on the
lookout for exciting new fics?
Then look no further. Welcome
to the Teitho Contest, where you can participate amongst many other writers
and send in stories based on themes.
Join us in this writing contest!
Each challenge will take six weeks: Four weeks of writing, two weeks of voting.
On the first day of the challenge, we announce a new theme on this site. You then have one month to write your story. The length of the story is a maximum
of 20 pages (Word), and it has to be finished when you send it in!

Do NOT send in your story to any other list or emailaddress or it will not be eligible!
On this website we will announce the new challenge and dates plenty of time ahead.
This contest is unique!
All the stories will be posted anonymously so you will not know what author you are voting for. Send in your stories only to this emailaddress Teitho Contest.
Include in your email your top 3 of favorite stories. Mention clearly what your favorite story is.
We will announce the winners on this site and the mailing lists.
